The present article will tackle the concept of internalized misogyny by trying to review existing theories and to extract a number of common threads of these theories in order to find some useful insights on the internal mechanisms that make up internalized misogyny, and on how internalized misogyny should be approached by practical action. I start the discussion by exploring oppression and the internalization of oppression, and afterwards move to internalized misogyny itself, charting its place within gender dynamics in general, as well as its impact on gender roles, on women’s actions towards other women, and their actions towards themselves. Using data from the World Value Survey (2017–2020), I will explore how internalized misogyny is reflected in specific sexist attitudes, how it relates to male misogyny, and which aspects of gender relations seem to come to the fore when dealing with internalized sexism. This will allow us to confront and complement the theories on internalized sexism with data on attitudes and beliefs, and develop a clearer picture of the phenomenon, as well as drawing some brief conclusions regarding practical action to mitigate gender oppression.

At the same time there will be probably present higher demands for professional psychosocial support. Psychotherapy and counselling as talking interventions are part of the psychosocial support, needed when people can’t resolve their (mental) problems by themselves. The article deals with the question about differneces between those two professions. Are those differences artificial, is there any argumented facts in favour of different proponents? For this purpose we have examined different definitions of counselling and psychotherapy, training standards, techniques and skills, ethical standards, treatment outcomes, depth of treatment and clients expiriences.</abstract>

<abstract><title style='display:none'>Abstract</title>In the context of economic globalization, technology is a key factor in boosting growth and competitiveness in the business world. Technologically intensive companies have more innovation, gain new markets, use available resources more productively, and generally offer more to the people they employ. Europe spends less on R&amp;D, compared to the US and Japan, mainly due to lower levels of private investment. The lower share of HTC in the EU is the reason for half of the EU's lag behind the US. The aim of this paper is therefore to present the importance of high – tech companies for EU economy and to evaluate the steering of Europe 2020 grand strategies towards active support of HTCs and estimate, how Europe 2030 strategies will continue the effort of boosting EU economy.</abstract>

<abstract><title style='display:none'>Abstract</title>This paper analyses gambling within the notion of culture. Examining its origins, we find out that gambling is strongly intertwined with culture. Due to human development and cultural complexity, the perceptions of luck, taking risk and chance change over time, but still have an important impact on gambling activity and detecting its codes. Historical evidence of gambling shows that gambling developed with different intensity, and has been mostly affected by European colonization. Gambling culture can be distinguished depending on the historical backgrounds, institutional structure and religious backgrounds (among other factors). The secondary analysis was prepared by taking raw data from the World Value Survey (2014) and analysing the correlations between gambling components. The selected components prove to be significantly correlated with the Taking Risk factor (secularization factor) and represent a significant contribution to the finalization of our findings. The final results propose four types of gambling culture present today, i.e. Simple Gambling Culture, Denied Gambling Culture, Transitioning Gambling Culture and Pro-Gambling Culture. Simple Gambling culture has the least gambling characteristic, whereas Pro-gambling Culture is a newly introduced term which represents the contemporary gambling cultural orientations.</abstract>

The goal of the paper is to identify the importance and role of social capital accumulated in companies and state diplomacy for companies’ internationalization. The research aims to show the relations between the actors, to contribute to the discourse between the actors, to suggest possible improvements, and thus to contribute to the success in the internationalization of companies. The research approach is interdisciplinary. The paper offers not only a theoretical review and reflection but also new findings resulting from the concretization of the topic based on an inductive approach—the case of the Republic of Slovenia. The research has shown that the most important mechanisms for entering the market were product quality, brand, and personal acquaintances. The results of the interviews showed the importance of personal acquaintances, combined with the implicit knowledge, owned by the employees of the national institutions.

Adolescence, a phase of 'stress and strain', is a crucial period for building a strong sense of self, personality, social connections, and identity. Happiness is also a critical issue concerning adolescents’ development. Adolescents are happy when they are satisfied with their lives and relationships. During the last two decades, the internet has been incorporated into the daily lives of adolescents to such an extent that it has become a magic wand for satisfying their psychological needs and making them happy. The present review seeks to explore the factors of internet usage affecting the happiness of adolescents in order to make recommendations for mindful usage of the internet that would eventually result in a happier adolescent. The review has established that time spent online and the purpose of using the internet are the influential factors of internet usage that impact the happiness of adolescents. It has also been revealed that adolescents use the internet for four main purposes: retrieving information, knowledge, communication, entertainment, and commerce, of which communication predominates. Though there are mixed results regarding the relationship between time spent online, the purpose of its usage, and happiness, as well as a hazy understanding of the relationships that exist between the obtained factors of internet usage, the evidence of the negative effects of prolonged and purposeless internet usage necessitates diplomatic strategy implications by policymakers for its mindful usage in order to promote its positive effects and mitigate the potential harm.

The advancement of technology and people's interactions virtually over social media has created many opportunities for online businesses to expand their scope and maintain their cost efficiencies by targeting customers on social media platforms. Twitter is one of the businesses’ actively used social media platforms to reach customers. Businesses seem to shift their scope more towards the online side because this is where they can reach customers. Social media platforms facilitate businesses in reaching out to customers and developing their brand image through marketing strategies. The features that attract users towards using Twitter are the word-of-mouth communication generated on it and the freedom of expressing and sharing opinions. This paper investigates how Twitter has played its role in shifting the scope of businesses online and developing their brand image using it as a platform. Additionally, it aims to ascertain how online business activities have impacted customers on Twitter. We used the quantitative method to discover the influence of Twitter activities on online business, and data were collected from 80 respondents. The results have been further analysed using the Likert scale analysis, and to determine the relationship between the variable and to test the hypotheses, multiple regression has been used. The study's results showed a significant relationship between the business's engagement online on Twitter and the customer's loyalty to the brand.

The purpose of this paper is to explore the use of plastic waste to increase the sustainability of road construction in Auckland. An exploratory research strategy was used based on interviews conducted with infrastructure company and waste management company managers, road construction practitioners, academic experts relevant to the roading industry and technical personnel. Thematic analysis was used to analyse the data for insights. There are some concerns regarding the quality and performance of roads affecting socio-sustainability, for which research is advised from the Auckland perspective. Research is recommended in the subject of recycling other waste material such as glass and rubber into roading all over New Zealand (NZ). Moreover, research is recommended specifically for walking and cycling tracks, which is a focus of the Auckland Council currently. The infrastructure companies and the Auckland Council must work together for incorporating plastic waste in roading. Companies can achieve higher sustainability as they will make a profit by saving costs, benefit the society by providing better quality and performance of roads and help the environment by green manufacturing. By using plastic waste, the Auckland Council can meet the targets of decarbonising the transport in Auckland by the year 2040; this is also a step towards the NZ targets of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

Human civilisation is undergoing a transformation, perceived as the institutionalisation of digital globalisation. The 20th century witnessed greater strides in the form of the internet revolution, automobile technologies and smart mobility, related transformation, dissemination and integration of related technologies as well, leading to the emergence of digital globalisation. The integration of cyber-physical systems has accelerated the rate of urbanisation, and the currently prevailing enhanced standards of living have increased the number of automobiles in cities that have been integrated into the digitally globalised ecosystems, leading to the emergence of autonomous vehicles (AVs). The present study analyses the emerging threats and vulnerabilities of AVs and smart mobility, which have created more security concerns for AVs across nation-states, leading as well to the emergence of digital globalisation. The article theorises the aspects of human security linkages and utilises a capacity matrix (qualitative approach) to examine the development, institutionalisation and integration of AVs into digital globalisation and the related challenges emerging along with it.

The relationship between the judge and the parties to judicial proceedings must entail communication, including appropriate reactions, during the proceedings and be balanced and respectful, despite different views being held. Irrespective of a judge disagreeing with the parties and any actions by the parties in breach of the law, the judge is supposed to provide the parties with a genuine sense of respect. Judges thereby help realise the human dignity of the individuals involved in judicial proceedings. However, the abstract nature of the concept of human dignity means empirical research on the realisation of human dignity remains modest at the scientific level. This article builds a research framework for researching the ways in which the human dignity of an individual (more specifically, the accused person) is realised in the vertical relationships (judicial authority–individual) during criminal proceedings. In this respect, the article opens the door for future empirical research on the realisation of human dignity.

The countries in the Sahel, aside from being located in the same geopolitical region, also share similar socioeconomic and socio-political challenges. This includes political instability, insecurity, poor governance, climate change and democratic erosion – among others. The corrosion of the democratic gains recorded since the spread of democracy in the 1990s and the rise of autocratic regimes has become prevalent in the last decade. The subversion of the electoral process, limited freedom and military takeovers are an indication of the spread of autocracy in Africa (generally) and the Sahel (specifically). The paper which is anchored on the resource curse theory argues that the Sahel is rich in natural resources that when not properly managed breed corruption and increase the chances of conflict and the likelihood of military takeover. More so, faced with weak institutions, autocrats take advantage of abundant resources to increase patronage networks at the expense of development and democratic growth. The paper found that the rise of illiberal regimes is on the rise in Africa; suggesting a wave of autocracy. This is evident in the spate of autocratic and highly defective democracies in the region; one-party dominance; re-emergence of military coups; and circumvention of term limits. It is therefore concluded that electoral autocracy is on the rise in Africa and is a common phenomenon in the Sahel. This is given impetus by weak institutions which makes it difficult for rulers to utilize resource wealth for human capital development. To this end, the paper adopts a qualitative approach that relies on secondary data sourced from peer-reviewed journal articles, government reports, briefs and internet sources.

Implementation of such grand strategy is an arduous process, which has so far more often than not resulted in implementation deficit. The article follows the Cultural Political Economy approach and is based on a premise that to successfully implement a grand strategy of Europe 2020 and its successor strategies, we need to construe the strategy as a hegemonic discourse that needs to pass the evolutionary mechanisms of variation, selection and retention. Possible mechanism of retention of Europe 2020 is the innovative educational that was developed and tested in Jean Monnet Chair project Cultural Political Economy of Europe 2020. The digital divide is an important issue in developing nations, especially during Covid-19 times. The notion of the digital divide gained prominence in the 1990s. The characterization of the idea of the digital divide has evolved with time and is currently recognized as “lack of knowledge, access or infrastructure.” It can be comprehended as a barrier for the general masses, particularly in developing countries. Information and communication technology (ICT) now occupies a significant role in our lives (especially in Covid-19 times). India is known for its social diversity. However, some groups and categories of people have historically been excluded and continue to be excluded today. This study focuses on the assessment of the impact of the digital divide on Indian society, specifically on the phenomenon of social exclusion because of the digitalization of almost all aspects of our lives. The research gap observed is that the digital divide can have serious concerns for future growth since it impedes social mobility, creates impediments, and exacerbates social inaccessibility for disadvantaged groups. To obtain an adequate sample size, respondents are chosen using simple random sampling technique of probability sampling. Statistical techniques such as validity and reliability analysis, T-test, ANOVA, and correlation-regression are used to present quantitative data. The study's expected outcome will be to provide a vigilant roadmap for policymakers and public institutions to strengthen nationhood among the masses while promoting social inclusion. Modern Indian society should strive for inclusion, and there should be no discrimination in terms of digital accessibility, which could paralyze the developing nation.

<abstract><title style='display:none'>Abstract</title>This research aims to unpack the politics of gender equality and inclusion in municipal councils, focusing on the patterns of women’s political practices; the institutional impact of the national and local cultures on the organizational cultures. It is based on action-research and mixed-method format. Eight municipal councils in small and medium size Jewish, Arab and Jewish-Arab towns in the Northern district participate in the study. Initial findings suggest that women's meaningful involvement in the municipal strategic decision-making is partial. There is a significant gap between the declared strive for gender equality and inclusion and women's actual influence in decision-making. This gap looms particularly large in the Arab towns. The mechanisms of exclusion and potential avenues of counteracting them are discussed.</abstract>
