The journal thus covers many biomedical areas related to physical activity, e.g. physiology, biochemistry, biomechanics, anthropology, medical issues associated with physical activities, physical and motor development, psychological and sociological issues associated with physical activities, rehabilitation, health-related sport issues and fitness, etc.

Biomedical Human Kinetics is one of the leading Central European journals dealing with health-related exercise sciences. The journal is a forum for researchers from many countries all over the world for presenting research results of international importance. Our articles follow the international debate on current issues of physical activity.
Why submit
Biomedical Human Kinetics offers open source publication, short waiting time, even as short as only few months. Language correction service is provided for authors from non-English speaking regions. The interdisciplinary, international Editorial Board supports publishing manuscripts of varied scientific origins. Friendly attitude, fair and constructive peer review process should also be emphasised, as well as a promotion of every published article.
Publication Fees (applies articles submitted after 1st of January 2022)
Manuscripts accepted for publication in Biomedical Human Kinetics are subject to Article Processing Charge of 150 EUR (plus VAT where applicable). The fee partially covers the costs of technical editing and proofreading .
