Acta Academica Karviniensia is a peer-reviewed scientific journal from the Silesian University in Opava, specifically the School of Business Administration in Karvina. This journal focuses on publishing articles related to economics, business, management, and information management. All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind review process, conducted by at least two independent experts in the pertinent field. The journal accepts papers in English and has transitioned to a biannual publication schedule starting in 2020.

Acta Academica Karviniensia upholds strict intellectual property rights principles, actively discouraging all forms of plagiarism, including deliberate, inadvertent, and self-plagiarism. Reviewers are tasked with recommending whether a manuscript should be published as is, revised, or rejected.
