Although research interest in this phenomenon has risen as well, the case of people leaving Switzerland remains little studied. Yet, in 2017, 11 % of Swiss men and women aged 65 and over lived abroad. Drawing on two case studies of older Swiss migrants to Spain and Morocco, this article contributes to a better understanding of this phenomenon.</p></abstract>
