The research shows a comparative analysis of land transportation infrastructure where there is an intermodal competition in Peru, specifically between the Road and the Rail in the Central Region. Based on this analysis, it is established which means of freight transportation are used to carry goods such as solid bulks, by? incorporating producers and consumers who compete for mining logistics to the Callao Port. The results show that transferring the mining freight from the road to the rail reduces traffic congestion from heavy truck use.
