<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>The article describes threats to habitat and species conservation areas in the Region of Warmia and Mazury, which are part of the <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="j_oszn-2018-0009_ref_012_w2aab3b7c13b1b6b1ab2ac12Aa">Natura 2000</xref> network. Standard Data Forms were analysed to reveal the presence of the highest level threats in two-thirds of the evaluated sites. Most of the identified threats were associated with forest management, agriculture and hydrological conditions.</p></abstract>
