This article explores the dynamic interplay between leadership and organizational culture within military institutions, with a focus on how leadership practices influence and are influenced by cultural patterns. Drawing on established theoretical frameworks and practical observations from military environments, the study emphasizes the importance of transformational leadership as a catalyst for cultural change, especially in hierarchical and tradition-bound systems like the military. The paper also highlights how leadership styles can either reinforce or challenge existing norms, values, and behaviours. By analysing the mechanisms through which leaders shape perceptions, motivate personnel, and guide organizational development, the article sheds light on the challenges and opportunities of cultivating adaptive and resilient military cultures. The findings suggest that a strong alignment between leadership approaches and organizational values fosters cohesion, performance, and innovation. Ultimately, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of how leadership acts as both a product and a driver of organizational culture in the military context.
