In the context of globalization and the spread of communication networks, digital propaganda has become a central tool for actors involved in conflict, facilitating the dissemination of misinformation and creating narratives that can destabilize both crisis situations and international relations. The methodology applied includes a quantitative and qualitative analysis of data collected from social media platforms, case studies of recent regional conflicts and a systematic literature review. The results highlight a significant correlation between the intensity of digital propaganda campaigns and changes in public perceptions of conflict, as well as strategic adaptations by military and security institutions. In today’s conflicts, disinformation and information manipulation can accelerate historically escalated disputes, altering both their internal dynamics and the external relations of the states involved.
