Tuberculosis represents a great challenge for the public health sector, especially in Romania. Hemoptosis in one of the most significant symptoms of pulmonary tuberculosis.
We evaluated the frequency of haemoptysis in patients with tuberculosis withni South-Eastern area of Romania, the consistency between the anatomical-clinical-radiological lesions and the mechanism of occurence of haemoptysis, the impact of different risk factors and with late detection of the infection.
