The aim of the paper was to demonstrate that brush cytology can be useful in diagnostic evaluation of precancerous states and laryngeal cancer.
Ninety-two patients were analyzed. The control group included patients with benign laryngeal lesions, while the study group was composed of patients in whom a precancerous condition or laryngeal cancer was suspected.
