Peer review
After a preliminary verification of manuscript’s originality by a plagiarism detection software, the peer review process follows. The quality, novelty and originality of the manuscripts are expected to be evaluated at this stage. The peer review acts as a filter for poor quality and inappropriate articles, being helpful both to the authors and to the journal and its editors.
The peer review system is “single-blind peer review”, which means that the reviewers know who the authors are, but the authors do not know who the reviewers are.
Each manuscript is evaluated by two independent reviewers, with expertise in the field of manuscript research, and who do not have to be colleagues / collaborators of the authors. The reviewers’ reports are sent to the editorial office and the observations are communicated by the editor-in-chief to corresponding author.
