This issue of Quaestiones Geographicae is the first to be published under the supervision of new editors of the Human Geography and Spatial Management series. On behalf of the new editorial board, we would like to express our sincere thanks to Prof. Tadeusz Stryjakiewicz for his long-standing work as Managing Editor of the journal Quaestiones Geographicae, published by the Faculty of Human Geography and Planning together with the Faculty of Geographical and Geological Sciences of the Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland. It is because of his commitment and effort that the journal successively raised its standing in the field of geography. The volume of submitted manuscripts has been growing steadily, elevating publication standards to new levels. Today, Quaestiones Geographicae is a recognised geographical journal with a high degree of internationalisation. This achievement would not have been possible without the Professor’s consistent efforts. Grateful for his hard work, we are looking forward to fruitful collaboration with him as a member of the Editorial Advisory Board.

The changes in the positions of Managing and Executive Editors have been also accompanied by the changes in the Editorial Advisory Board. We have appointed new board members: Yuko Aoyama (Clark University, USA), Elias G. Carayannis (George Washington University School of Business, Washington, USA), Andrés Rodríguez-Pose (London School of Economics and Political Science, UK), Tadeusz Stryjakiewicz (Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland), Kai Zhou (Hunan University, Changsha, China). We would like to thank the previous members of the Editorial Advisory Board for their work for the benefit of our journal and sincerely thank the new ones for agreeing to take up this position. We hope for fruitful mutual cooperation to further enhance the quality and standing of our journal in the field of geography.
