<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>In this paper we obtain some bounds in terms of polynomials for the function <inline-formula><alternatives><inline-graphic xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xlink:href="graphic/j_gm-2020-0019_eq_001.png"></inline-graphic><math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mrow><mfrac><mrow><mo>sin</mo><mi>x</mi></mrow><mi>x</mi></mfrac></mrow></math><tex-math>{{\sin x} \over x}</tex-math></alternatives></inline-formula>, <italic>x</italic> ∈ [0, π].</p></abstract>

In this paper we obtain some bounds in terms of polynomials for the function sinxx{{\sin x} \over x}, x ∈ [0, π].
