Because of the lack of an assessment system for the current construction of curriculum thinking in colleges and universities, which leads to the slow promotion of thinking and teaching, this paper proposes an assessment algorithm for curriculum thinking based on the subordination matrix model. Firstly, it establishes the set of variables and the set of assessment levels of the course Civics elements; secondly, it uses the segmentation function to determine the subordination coefficients of each course Civics element and further establishes the subordination coefficient matrix; finally, it assigns the coefficients according to the weight of the importance of the course Civics elements in this assessment level and then calculates the comprehensive score of the whole course Civics system. The results show that in the case of the University of S, the main influence of “teaching effectiveness” is 0.415, followed by “teaching content” with a weight of 0.339; the overall score is 55.4, which is in the middle level. The overall rating is 55.4, which is at a medium level. Through optimizing the path of Civics education based on the subordination matrix scoring system proposed in this paper, Civics teaching is effectively visualized, the evaluation system of the construction of Civics in the college curriculum is improved, and the promotion of Civics teaching is accelerated.
