<abstract xml:lang="en" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>Three species of the family Anthomyzidae, viz. <italic>Amygdalops thomasseti</italic> Lamb, 1914, <italic>Anagnota coccinea</italic> Roháček &amp; Freidberg, 1993 and <italic>Typhamyza bifasciata</italic> (Wood, 1911) and one species of Stenomicridae (Diptera), viz. <italic>Stenomicra cogani</italic> Irwin, 1982 are recorded from southern Turkey (Antalya province). All but <italic>Anagnota coccinea</italic> represent new faunal additions to this country and <italic>S. cogani</italic> (first member of Stenomicridae in Turkey) a new finding in Asia and easternmost known record. New and/or additional biological information with photographs of habitat are provided on these species and their distributions are reviewed.</p></abstract>
