<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p> The object of this paper is a study of a Cauchy problem by Gaussian semigroups methods on the 2<italic>π</italic>-torus in the setting of homogeneous Banach spaces. The approach is similar to that in: [Butzer, P. L.-Berens, H. <italic>Semi-Groups</italic><italic>of Operators and Approximation</italic>. Springer-Verlag, Berlin, 1967].</p></abstract>
