<p>Up to this date, more than 180 million people worldwide have been affected with COVID-19 and more than 3.9 million people have died. The effect of COVID-19 on thrombosis is well known, and due to this, anticoagulant agents are prescribed. However, the use of anticoagulants is associated with the bleeding trend and occasionally major complications and death outcomes.</p>
<p>In this paper, we present the case of a COVID-19 patient treated with anticoagulant therapy who developed Wunderlich’s syndrome. Up to our knowledge, this is the first case of this syndrome in a patient with COVID-19.</p>
