<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>The article presents a concept of the device to inspect technical condition of the interior of a marine pipeline. The design assumption was that the vehicle would be built for a specific existing pipeline, which is the Nord Stream gas pipeline. Based on the analysis of operating parameters and dimensions of the pipeline, the economic diameter and the medium flow velocity were calculated. The shape of the structure was proposed, and the measuring instruments and materials for manufacturing the vehicle were selected. The problems of energy supply during vehicle operation, and its installation inside the pipeline were solved.</p></abstract>
