<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>The article describes the architecture and standardization of the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) from the perspective of the new generations of networks (NGN). Further, it discusses the database structure and derives the Home Subscriber Server (HSS) equation to be used for designing the load of this database in two proposed scripts. At the end the article compares the plot of each method and evaluates which method is preferable.</p></abstract>
