In this issue, we would like to congratulate Dr. J. Michael Moore on receiving the TSRC Lifetime Achievement Award 2023 at the occasion of the 76th TSRC Annual Meeting in Norfolk, Virginia, in September of this year. The laudatory speech has been given by a former recipient of this prestigious award, Dr. W.K. “Bill” Collins, who also nominated the recipient of this year. Please see his laudation remarking on Dr. Moore’s long and distinguished career in crop science in this issue.
As the year 2023 is drawing to a close, we would like to express our gratitude to the members of our Advisory Board for dedicating their time and expertise to review and improve the manuscripts submitted to our Journal in the past year. We are profoundly grateful to all of you who provided support and advice to our authors.
It was good to meet Board members, sponsors, authors and friends at the CORESTA Meeting in Mexico as well as at the TSRC in Norfolk, VA a couple of months ago.
These are difficult and challenging times for many people around the world. We wish you all a peaceful and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year with your family.
