<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>Altogether 11 species of the family Agromyzidae (Diptera) are recorded from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Three species represent first records from the Czech Republic and 1 species from Slovakia, 8 species are new additions to the fauna of Bohemia and 4 to the fauna of Moravia. The most interesting findings are those of <italic>Melanagromyza kerkinica</italic> Černý, 2011, <italic>Cerodontha (Poemyza) alpina</italic> Nowakowski, 1967 and <italic>Chromatomyia ochracea</italic> (Hendel, 1920).</p></abstract>
