<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

In this paper we introduce the notion of <italic>δµ</italic>-connectedness on a <italic>µ-</italic>proximity space. It has been proved that <italic>δµ</italic>-connectedness can be characterized by <italic>δµ</italic>-continuous functions. We initiate the idea of <italic>δµ</italic>-chain and establish some results related to this. The concepts of <italic>δµ</italic>-component and <italic>δµ</italic>-quasi component have been introduced and their interrelation has been studied.

In this paper we introduce the notion of δµ-connectedness on a µ-proximity space. It has been proved that δµ-connectedness can be characterized by δµ-continuous functions. We initiate the idea of δµ-chain and establish some results related to this. The concepts of δµ-component and δµ-quasi component have been introduced and their interrelation has been studied.
