<p>Researches on designing homes for senior in the future implemented by the authors were presented in two articles. The first one is focused on the theoretical foundations. Paper explains what Design Thinking method is, discusses the state of research, objectives, substantiation of the selection of the topic, and modern trends in the design of senior homes. A continuation of this topic is article: SENIOR HOMES of THE FUTURE IN THE EYES of STUDENTS of ARCHITECTURE. DIDACTIC EXPERIENCE FROM THE APPLICATION of THE DESIGN THINKING METHOD.</p>
