This case report describes a pleomorphic adenoma in an unusual location. A 47-year-old man presented with a painless, slow growing tumor in his upper lip. An interview and physical examination were the basis for an initial diagnosis of a benign tumor. The lesion was removed entirely under local anesthesia using the trans-mucosal route. Histopathological examination revealed pleomorphic adenoma. The patient remains under constant out-patient control.
