<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p> This article examines the effect of the values of the longitudinal inclines of the road in relation to the location of horizontal road traffic signs. In a simple analysis, baseline scenarios were evaluated to demonstrate results that can be helpful in assessing the design of horizontal road traffic signs. As this is a broad topic, only the recommendations resulting from the test values are listed at the end of the text. The implementation of horizontal traffic signs in the right section of the road can be an important factor in improving road transport safety.</p></abstract>
