<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p> Two invasive mealybug species, <italic>Phenacoccus peruvianus</italic> Granara de Willink and <italic>Phenacoccus madeirensis</italic> Green (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae), have been recorded on new species of ornamental plants in diff erent regions of Greece. <italic>Phenacoccus peruvianus</italic> was recorded in Athens on <italic>Cestrum nocturnum</italic> L. (Solanaceae) in September 2013. <italic>Phenacoccus madeirensis</italic> was found in Kalamata (Peloponnese) on <italic>Aloysia citriodora</italic> Palau (Verbenaceae) in May 2014 and on <italic>Osteospermum jucundum</italic> (Phillips) (Asteraceae) in July 2014. This is the first record of <italic>O. jucundum</italic> as host plant of <italic>P. madeirensis</italic></p></abstract>
