<abstract xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p> Althogether 17 species of the family Anthomyiidae (Diptera) are recorded from the Czech Republic (or Moravia and Bohemia) (16 species) and Slovakia (1 species) for the first time. The most interesting findings are Delia dovreensis Ringdahl 1954 and northamerican species Pegomyia bifurcata Griffiths 1983.</p></abstract>
