Folia Scandinavica Posnaniensia is an international, peer-reviewed journal of Scandinavian studies, established and edited by the Department of Scandinavian Studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland). Volumes 1 through 10 were published by AMU Press. As of volume 11 the journal became an online one and is available at the Adam Mickiewicz University Repository. Future volumes of FSP will occasionally be published in paper format.
The journal carries scholarly articles on Scandinavian linguis­tics, literature, history and culture as well as book reviews. Contributions both from Poland and abroad are welcome. Papers submitted to FSP may be written in English, German as well as the mainland Scandinavian languages.

Sciendo archives the contents of this journal in Portico - digital long-term preservation service of scholarly books, journals and collections.

Plagiarism Policy

The editorial board is participating in a growing community of Similarity Check System's users in order to ensure that the content published is original and trustworthy. Similarity Check is a medium that allows for comprehensive manuscripts screening, aimed to eliminate plagiarism and provide a high standard and quality peer-review process.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

The main language of the journal is English. However, contributions in German, Danish, Norwegian or Swedish will be accepted. The length of the submitted texts should not exceed 40 000 characters (including spaces). Authors may be requested to shorten texts, which are longer than that. Only computer-prepared manuscripts will be accepted. Article manuscripts should follow these editing instructions. Editing instructions for reviews can be found here.

By submitting an article or review for publication at FSP Authors agree to the terms specified in this declaration.
Authors of texts accepted for publication may be asked to send a signed copy of the declaration to the Editors.

ANTI-PLAGIARISM POLICY AND GHOST-WRITING PREVENTION

The Editors of Folia Scandinavica Posnaniensia are committed to a policy of academic fairness. PLEASE NOTE that each and any author engaging in such practices as plagiarism and ghost-writing will be subject to academic sanctions.

It is one of our duties as editors of a scholarly journal to prevent ghost-writing, guest authorship and honorary authorship. This applies mainly to texts that are co-written by multiple authors. When submitting articles for publication in FSP authors may be asked to reveal how much each of the authors has contributed to the creation of the text in question and how. Authors may also be asked to submit a financial disclosure i.e. state what institutions have financed the research that a submitted article is based on (if applicable). Each and any discovered instance of ghost-writing, guest authorship and honorary authorship will be revealed and authors engaging in such practice will be subject to academic sanctions.
