Article Processing Charge (APC)

To publish in Foundations of Computing and Decision Sciences, authors are not required to pay an Article Processing Charge.

Only original papers, neither published nor submitted for publication elsewhere, can be submitted. Before submitting a manuscript to Foundations of Computing and Decision Sciences the authors should read carefully the Editorial Policy.

The journal accepts any of the following formats: Portable Document Format (.pdf), also with source in Latex (.tex) or MS Word (.doc,.docx) formatted according to authors’ guidelines.

Peer Review process

An Action Editor (responsible for a given topic and the particular paper) assigns the submitted paper to at least two independent reviewers (with no conflict of interests). It is done in a single-blind way (the authors do not know names of the reviewers). The instructions for reviewers are at the web page

Furthermore, the submission paper can be pre-evaluated by the members of the Editorial Board (in particular Associate Editors) and „desk-rejected” without sending it to the peer-review in case of the poor quality of its content and presentation problems (see the Editorial Policy).

Open Access Statement

The electronic edition of Foundations of Computing and Decision Sciences is available on an open access basis at Sciendo. Earlier papers (2003-2011) can be accessed at http://fcds.cs.put.poznan.pl/FCDS/PastIssues.aspx

Moreover, the printed edition of the journal is the reference version.
