The purpose of this study is to explain why employees in financial companies in Sri Lanka are likely to engage in unethical pro-team behaviors and how transformational leaders involve controlling unethical pro-team behaviors in a competitive work environment. The study employed a quantitative approach to investigate the association between the competitive psychological climate and perceived insider status on unethical pro-team behaviors. The authors collected data from 426 sales representatives at a finance company in Sri Lanka and tested hypotheses using Structural Equation Modelling analyses through Smart PLS version 3. The results indicate that competitive psychological climate and perceived insider status are positively associated with unethical pro-team behaviors. Further, the transformational leadership’s moderation is negatively significant on the relationship between competitive psychological climate and unethical pro-team behaviors. The study has shown that the leader will delegate more responsibility to the employee, associated with increased employee empowerment and high-quality, ethical behaviors. Besides, it contributes to the literature as of the new theoretical base and offers practical implications with the richer view of a nomological link between the leader, competitive employee, and competitive work environment.

An analysis of the results was performed accordingly on the panel data gathered from the Next 11 countries from 1985 to 2019— using the Pooled Mean Group (PMG) estimation method and the Autoregressive Distributed Lag model approach (ARDL). The results indicate an impact of both economic growth and financial development on the FDI flows to the study of countries during the period between 1985 and 2019 in the long run, while no such proof is affirmed in the short run. This study’s contribution provides a better understanding of the dynamic relationship between FDI, economic growth, and financial development by providing decision-makers to understand the nature of the dynamic association between the study variables. This study provides empirical evidence about the association between inflows of FDI, economic growth and financial development within the context of the Next-11 countries. The previous literature lacks empirical study on the relationship between variables of study for the Next-11 countries.
The topic of corporate sustainability has gained importance in recent years; unfortunately, confusion persists as to what it represents for businesses and academics. This review of the literature aims to analyse concepts and models related to corporate sustainability and to emphasize the most representative recent findings regarding the benefits, challenges, and opportunities of corporate sustainability. First, a series of benefits are identified, including improved quality, image and reputation for organizations. Second, challenges are recognized, such as the high cost of investment and the lack of consideration of cultural factors, collaboration and innovation. Opportunities are then presented, for example, the implementation of sustainability through life cycle management, the “Eden Project” and analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT), among others. Finally, the need to achieve the benefits, take advantage of the opportunities and face the challenges of corporate sustainability in order to balance environmental, social and economic development is highlighted.
Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are fundamental to the economy of all countries, representing the majority, with a considerable contribution to GDP, as well as generating jobs; for this reason, it must seek to remain in the market. The objective is to analyze the impact of training on the organizational performance of SMEs in northwestern Mexico, applying the statistical technique of structural equations model (SEM-PLS); the research was conducted to 195, considering the commercial, industrial and services, is a quantitative study, descriptive, correlational, causal, using the statistical technique of structural equations with the SMART PLS 3.3.2 software, and not experimental cross-sectional. The alternative hypothesis is accepted, since training has an effect on the organizational performance of SMEs in northwestern Mexico. It is highly significant because there is very strong evidence of the causality of the mediating variable training on the organizational performance of SMEs with 99.9% reliability. Training has the greatest effect on organizational performance because each unit that increases training will have an effect of +0.453, being the variable with the greatest cause-effect impact on organizational performance in SMEs in northwestern Mexico.
