Notitia – journal for economic, business and social issues is an Open Access journal that allows a free unlimited access to all its contents without any restrictions upon publication to all users. There are no fees for readers to access or download articles.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

There are no author charges prior to publication, and no charge for readers to download articles and reviews for their own scholarly use.

Description of the peer review process

Notitia – journal for economic, business and social issues follows a double-blind peer review process, ensuring a rigorous and impartial evaluation of submitted manuscripts. The peer review process consists of the following steps:

Initial submission:

Authors submit their manuscripts by e-mail to info@notitia.hr

Editorial assessment:

Notitia – journal for economic, business and social issues follows a double-blind peer review process, ensuring a rigorous and impartial evaluation of submitted manuscripts. The peer review process consists of the following steps:

Reviewer selection:

The manuscript is assigned to at least two independent experts in the relevant field. Reviewers are selected based on their academic expertise, research experience, and familiarity with the manuscript’s subject matter.

Double-blind review:

The reviewers evaluate the manuscript without knowledge of the authors' identities, and vice versa. They assess originality, methodological rigor, clarity, and contribution to the field.

Reviewer reports and recommendations:

Reviewers submit detailed reports with recommendations to accept, revise, or reject the manuscript.

Editorial decision:

Based on the reviewers' feedback, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision. The decision may be:

  • Acceptance: The manuscript is accepted with or without minor revisions.
  • Revisions required: The authors must make necessary changes and resubmit the revised manuscript.
  • Rejection: The manuscript does not meet the journal’s standards or scope.

Revised manuscript review:

If major revisions are requested, the revised manuscript may be sent back to the same reviewers for re-evaluation.

Final decision:

The Editors-in-Chief makes the final publication decision based on the revised version.

Publication:

Accepted manuscripts are formatted, proofread, and published online.
