Diabetic Nephropathy is an open-access journal proving research progress in this field to clinicians, scientific researchers and medical students, so the experts and scholars in the field of diabetes kidney disease are the main readers of this journal.

The Diabetic Nephropathy journal aims to provide a platform for the communication of novel research findings from both clinical science and basic research of all kidney disease, especially diabetic kidney disease. The journal publishes articles covering basic and clinical progress in the fields of diabetes kidney disease, the physiology, dialysis/chronic uremia, hypertension, urology, pathology, vascular disease related to kidney, and transplantation of diabetes kidney disease is also involved, including other kidney diseases. Diabetic Nephropathy particularly focusses on basic and applied research of direct relevance to clinical diabetes kidney disease and its scope ranges from fundamental research to delivery of better health care. The journal provides a multidisciplinary forum for various kinds of original articles, comprehensive and systematic reviews of research and clinical issues, comments, news, correspondence, mini reviews, perspectives, and research highlights.

The journal aims at establishing a platform which can lead the world in the field of diabetes kidney disease and related basic medicine, clinical medicine and general health, and show its latest academic progress, and it is also interested in publishing research that supports communication and exchange of knowledge between East and West. Overall, Diabetic Nephropathy will bring you the latest research highlights from all over the world in fields relevant to diabetes kidney disease.
