Bulletin of the Main Medical Library” has been published by the Main Medical Library since 1952. Its initiator and originator was Professor Stanislaw Konopka - the founder and first Director of the Library. The periodical was published until 2002. Initially, the bulletin was a list of acquisitions of the Main Medical Library, informing readers, mainly doctors, about the current literature in the field of medicine and related sciences.

In 2016, after a fourteen-year hiatus, “Bulletin” was resumed, with a changed layout and a new format. The journal is published twice a year in a digital format. The purpose of the “Bulletin” is to provide up-to-date information on the latest developments in the field of medicine and related sciences:

It enables access to knowledge and resources that support the professional and scientific development of health care professionals and students. It presents in its pages peer-reviewed publications - scientific articles: research papers that contribute to the development of knowledge in the field of health. Publications include empirical research results, case studies and innovative approaches to practice, as well as review articles - analyses of current trends and topics in the medical literature that will help readers understand the context and significance of new developments in their fields.
