Abstract

A concept of an expert system that can be used for supporting aircraft diagnostic and maintenance processes is presented in the paper. The paper discusses general principles of an expert system creation as well as main tools used for implementation of such a system. A method of application of one of those tools - CLIPS expert system shell, for solving M-28 aircraft maintenance problems is presented in the paper.
