Editors’ Note

After almost six months of unprecedented developments in working conditions, with lockdowns and restrictions in daily life due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we hope this issue finds you, our readers, authors and reviewers, healthy and well despite everything.

Before bringing out our last issue, we had decided not to print it but to publish online only due to the restrictions within the postal services in times of a pandemic. During the last couple of months, we have weighed the arguments for and against printed issues for the future. As it is, for the time being, we will continue to publish online only. But for those interested, we will provide a printed version of all manuscripts that have been published at the end of each year.

As this will be a more weighty tome, we would like to ask you to let us have your “order” of the years’ issue. On the following page, please find a form where you can insert your e-mail and postal address in a separate file. We would appreciate receiving the completed form with your data in any case - even if you do not wish to receive a printed issue. It would enable us to update our subscribers list and communicate with you more directly.

You may send us a scan of the form by e-mail to muellerb@beitraege-bti.de. The printed volume will be mailed without charges only to those who wish to receive it. If you know persons/institutions who might be interested in receiving these announcements in the future, please let them have this order form.

Imminent changes in the procedures: -

To facilitate browsing the Journal in the future, our volumes will appear as one-year volumes from 2020 onwards.

Our wish for all our readers and scientists around the globe: we hope that we will all overcome this crisis within the next year.
